For many this will be a sensitive question. Some might even turn the page quickly. Before any of you do, let me point out that this is not a question about religion, this is a question about whether you feel there is a higher being, and if you believe there is, how it impacts us when we work together.

What I find most compelling in this question is that most societies believe there is a higher being, whether through their myths or through the deities they have come to worship. Accepting the existence of a higher being does not require adherence to religious practice, rather it informs our world view and influences the way we see humankind being together, right down to the one-on-one.

Broadly speaking we can say that acceptance of a higher being is a source of spiritual intelligence that allows us to transcend the everyday and see and participate in the richness of life.
